The Annotation tool allows users to interactively annotate any environment, making it easier to highlight points of interest, share insights, and leave notes. Whether it's for architectural review, design discussions, or educational purposes, this tool provides a seamless way to visually communicate ideas and observations directly within the 3D space. Users can draw paint strokes to emphasize specific areas and leave text annotations for additional context.
Paint Stroke Annotations: Draw freeform lines on your project to highlight key features or areas of interest
Text Annotations: Place text notes anywhere in the environmentfor detailed comments or suggestions
From the tools menu, choose the Annotations option to access the annotation features.
There are three options available for the Annotation feature:
Paint Stroke
Clear Stroke
Annotate Text
To use paint stroke annotations, select Paint Stroke from the annotations options to enable this mode. The current annotation mode will be displayed at the bottom right of the screen. You can then click and drag your mouse in SiEGA's environment to draw strokes, highlighting specific architectural features or areas of interest. If you wish to remove any drawn strokes, simply select the Clear Stroke option to delete all paint strokes from the environment.
In the annotations options, you'll find the Annotate Text feature. To use it, simply click on the desired location where you want to leave a note, and a text box will appear for you to type your message.
