Overview

The Import feature allows users to seamlessly integrate assets into the SiEGA Globe Viewer by supporting .fbx and .laz file formats. This functionality enhances your projects by enabling the placement, rotation, scaling of imported assets, providing you with greater flexibility and creativity in your projects

  • Multi-format Support: Ability to import both .FBX files and .LAZ files

  • Intuitive Manipulation: Easily place, rotate, and scale your imported assets within SiEGA

*Note that this demo covers BOTH the Import AND Export features

How to Use with .FBX Format

Open the Actions menu and select the Import option to begin the importing process.

You will be prompted to choose the file type for import in this scenario we will be selecting .fbx

Locate and select the desired .FBX file

After importing, the asset may be slightly out of place, you can easily adjust its position using the HUD at the top

There are multiple ways to transform the asset such as moving the location, rotating the asset, and even scaling as well.

How to Use with .LAZ Format

Open the Actions menu and select the Import option to begin the importing process.

You will be prompted to choose the file type for import in this scenario we will be selecting .laz

Locate and select the desired .LAZ file

After importing, the asset may be slightly out of place, you can easily adjust its position using the HUD at the top
