Cesium Panel

Overview

The Cesium Panel in SiEGA allows users to integrate and visualize 3D models, maps and pointcloud tiled in Cesium ION. This feature leverages Cesium's tile streaming capabilities to provide a scalable, immersive and interactive experience, enabling users to explore large datasets within SiEGA's virtual environment

Features

• Asset Search: Easily find 3D assets through scrolling or by using our search function

• Interactive Visualization: Place assets in the environment and navigate around them using various navigation modes

• Import Token: Add additional assets that can be imported with a valid Cesium Token

How to use

Open the actions menu and select the Cesium option. This will open the Cesium Panel.

In the Cesium Panel you can see there are multiple options for managing assets:

• Import: Select a specific asset for 3D visualization. This will allow you to browse available assets and choose the one you want to view.

• Delete: Select the asset you wish to remove from the environment.

• Search: Quickly find a specific asset by typing in relevant keywords.

In this image we see an example of searching for a specific asset

Import the asset by clicking on it and you now have a 3D Visualized environment you can freely navigate around.

You can import more assets by clicking the Import Token check box directly below the search bar

Here you'll be able to input a valid Cesium Token which will allow you to import additional assets that are associated with that token.
