Cesium Culling

Overview

The Cesium Culling feature allows users to create precise linear cuts on Cesium tiles. Users can select at least three points to establish a region that defines the cropping area.

• Polygon-Based Cropping: Define a custom cropping area using a minimum of three points to create a linear connection between them

• Perform multiple cropping actions on the same tile

How to Use

Open the tools menu and select the 'Cesium Culling' option

In the prompted window, select the Cesium tile you wish to crop and then select start adding points

Click on the tile to add points. You must select at least three points to create a valid cropping polygon.

Options available:

• Stop Adding Points: If you want to pause the point selection, you can choose the option to stop adding points

• Remove Previous Point: To correct any mistakes, use the option to remove the last point you added

• Delete All Points: If you wish to start over, you can delete all points and begin again

Once you have selected at least three points click on the option to cut out the area and the selected region will be cropped from the tile.
